What is OT? Developing Meaningful Activity Programmes
Course Aim
Quality of life is especially relevant for residents in long-stay care facilities, who may be considered as one of the most vulnerable groups in society given their increasing age and levels of dependency. For this group, a poor quality of care provision will have a significant impact on their quality of life. By developing a meaningful occupational therapy programme the quality of life for the older person can be greatly enhanced. This course will equip the participant with the skills and knowledge to assist them in developing a meaningful activity programme within a healthcare setting. Who should apply? This course is designed for anyone who would like to participate and contribute to the development of a meaningful activity programme within a healthcare setting. .
