Undertaking Clinical Audits
Course Aim
A clinical audit is a tool which can be used to discover how well clinical care is being provided and to learn if there are opportunities for improvement. A clinical audit may be used to improve aspects of care in a wide variety of topics. It can also be used in association with changes in care provision or to confirm that current practice meets the expected level of performance. This course will equip the participant with the skills and knowledge to competently prepare for clinical inspections and audits. Who should apply? This course is designed for anyone with the responsibility of preparing for clinical inspections and audits. It is also very useful for any employees who wish to gain a better understanding of the process and beneficial importance of clinical audits and the role that they play in achieving successful audits. .
