Construction Site Manager

Job Description: LIPD Recruitment are now seeking a Site Manager/Construction Manager with a minimum 5-6 years' experience, ideally spent working with reputable contractors working on projects ranging in value between €2 million and €30 million.
Candidate Requirements:
· Managing project staff
· Weekly Reporting, Tracking Milestones, ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to communicate and deal with external stakeholders, professional teams i.e Engineers, Architects
· Commercially minded
· Ability to drive the project and complete within budget and target
· Ensure compliance with local authority and regulatory obligations, BCAR exposure
· Ensure H&S compliance
An appropriate degree in construction/building management, engineering, construction engineering management or civil/structural engineering is required. Experience of the working environment is necessary for management positions.
The Role:
You'll join a large team and report directly to the Contracts Manager. You'll be responsible for the complete day to day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors. You'll be responsible for maintaining site records, managing and implementing safety management procedures. You'll be responsible for attending and chairing weekly site meetings as well as reporting on project progress to senior management. You'll monitor project programme and report on project progress to management as well as other duties assigned by Contracts Manager.
