Course Aim
This online training course covers the physical and emotional aspects of safeguarding vulnerable adults, including duty of care, sign of abuse, and what to do if you suspect abuse. The course explains the concepts of protection and vulnerability and illustrates the types of abuse and their related signs. It also explains the risk management process and its importance as well as the importance of confidentiality. The course also covers the importance of reporting and whistle-blowing on actual or potential abuse. Who should apply? This course is designed for anyone who works within the role as a carer either full or part time and either professionally or as a volunteer.
